Consulting and Training perfecting proALPHA
Are you reaching the limits of your standard proALPHA environment, want to adapt standard behavior to your own business processes, or integrate other systems with proALPHA? Ask me! I will gladly advise you and show you ways to customize proALPHA — ways to implement your ideas within the standard installation. If needed, I’ll create specifications (Pflichtenhefte) for your review and testing, or I can build on existing ones.
Do you need ongoing changes and want to handle them with your own IT staff? Ask me! I support you by training your internal IT experts on-site using your own system through tailored workshops.

Do you have issues in your proALPHA environment and are not getting a fast enough solution, or can't pinpoint where the problem lies? Ask me! As a proALPHA expert with many years of experience, I can quickly identify the issue. Depending on the case, I may point out options available in the standard system, warn you about possible user errors, or recommend a program modification.
Programming — benefit from my know-how
The core of my service is proALPHA programming. Whether you already have specifications waiting (perhaps for too long), or you simply know something needs to be different — whether you want to integrate an extra function or just want proALPHA to work a different way — ask me! I’ve been “at home” in the proALPHA code for over 20 years and can show you how to implement your ideas as efficiently as possible.
By the way: All program modifications and additional programming are fully update-safe. That means, when upgrading to a higher proALPHA version, your modifications can be carried over with relatively little effort.
Ingo Stephan
I am Ingo Stephan, born in 1965, trained and degreed programmer, self-employed since 1996, and active as a consultant since 2000.
I’ve spent half my life working with the programming of proALPHA and its predecessor products Posis and Indios, and therefore know proALPHA and OpenEdge (Progress) like the back of my hand (for lack of a vest pocket). In the beginning, other Progress-based products were also involved. Since 2002, I have been working exclusively with proALPHA programming and consulting.
